Doubling efforts and having a more solid structure are the priorities for this year, after a 2025 marked by the slowdown in sales and profits , so the bet is to strengthen the team, infrastructure and internal capabilities to respond to a market that demands greater efficiency and resilience, considered Óscar Didier Gil Garagarza, president of the Board of Directors of Tractocamiones Kenworth DAF de Monterrey .
“We cannot stop because it is a difficult year; on the contrary, now is when we must redouble our efforts,” Óscar Didier Gil told T21.
The market adjustment during 2025 created a more cautious environment for both distributors and carriers, who faced an uncertain scenario and reduced commercial activity. In response, he explained that the strategy was not to halt investments, but rather to remain close to customers and contribute to their productivity.
The executive acknowledged an impact across the entire supply chain ; however, he emphasized that halting investments was not an option. The company continued to allocate resources to staff training, expanding and improving spare parts inventories, and acquiring specialized tooling.
Investments were also made in workshops and facilities , with the aim of offering better after-sales service at a time when every hour of operation counts for carriers.
During periods of slower growth, he added, technical and operational support became even more crucial. Close relationships with clients have been essential in helping them sustain their operations and maintain productivity levels in a demanding environment.
The vision, concluded Óscar Didier Gil, is to consolidate the team and operational capacity to face a market that, after the 2025 adjustment, demands greater structural solidity and commitment to transportation.
