In the transportation sector, cleaning has ceased to be a routine process and has become an essential component of safety and operational efficiency. With this in mind, Karcher Mexico , a subsidiary of the German company founded 90 years ago, is strengthening its presence in the country with solutions focused on fleet, yard, and logistics center maintenance, with a focus on sustainability and resource optimization.
The company, which has a manufacturing plant in Monterrey and more than 30 years of operations in the Mexican market, offers a portfolio that ranges from pressure washers and industrial sweepers to automatic vehicle washing systems .
These tools can reduce unit cleaning times by up to 50% and reduce water consumption by similar amounts, a key factor for the efficiency of transportation companies.
“Efficient cleaning is also a safe operation,” said Hugo Valdez, Professional Product Manager for Karcher Mexico, who also explained that the company seeks to support the sector with solutions that facilitate facility maintenance and improve process productivity.

Among its most recent developments is the KIRA B50 autonomous robot , designed for automated floor cleaning in distribution centers and warehouses.
The equipment operates independently, supplies and disposes of water at automated stations, and has international safety certifications. Its incorporation, Valdez explained, allows for consistent cleaning standards and reduces operational staff turnover.
Karcher Mexico ‘s actions also align with global sustainability goals. The company uses recycled plastics in some of its equipment, incorporates water recycling systems, and employs solar energy in its production processes.
These measures have allowed their clients to reduce façade maintenance costs by up to 40% by extending the lifespan of the structures.
By 2026, the company plans to introduce the KIRA B200 , a higher-capacity model aimed at large industrial areas, to the domestic market, in addition to updating its line of vacuum cleaners and pressure washers.
With nationwide coverage and a network of distributors trained at the Karcher Academy , the company maintains its commitment to technical training and after-sales service.
“The most satisfying thing is seeing how our solutions contribute to making our clients’ operations more efficient and sustainable,” Valdez concluded.
