J&T Express celebrates nine years since the beginning of its operations, within which, three years ago, it entered the Mexican market with accelerated growth in infrastructure and capacity , covering 100% of the national territory, so the company wants to adopt a comprehensive approach to its business but also with a social impact.
The company was founded in Indonesia and has gradually expanded around the world, so that today it is present in 13 countries with 237 logistics centres, as well as 19 thousand network partners.
In Mexico, the logistics company began operations in 2021 and has consolidated its presence with 17 hubs, more than 60 distribution centers, and 1,100 points of sale , as well as a fleet of more than two thousand vehicles covering 28 main routes in the national territory.
On the other hand, the company announced yesterday the investment of six million dollars for the expansion of its three main centers: Nuevo León, Jalisco and State of Mexico, which will be directed mainly to automation to double the installed capacity of these spaces to optimize time and costs.
J&T Express also seeks to generate an impact in communities, which is why it is celebrating its third anniversary in Mexico by giving a boost to education with the donation of 10 playrooms around the country.
“We are convinced that our growth must go hand in hand with the well-being of the people and communities where we operate. We understand that education is a cornerstone of social development and we firmly believe in creating opportunities for all,” said Flavio Castañera, legal and government affairs director.
The spokesperson assured that this commitment has been materialized in multiple initiatives, from the implementation of sustainable technologies in the supply chain – for example, circular economy in their packaging – to projects such as this one, which they called La Ruta de Mao .
In this regard, J&T Express has already begun delivering playrooms in the State of Mexico, Puebla, Querétaro and Mexico City , to which those located in San Luis Potosí, Yucatán, Chihuahua, Baja California, Nuevo León and Jalisco will be added, benefiting more than 3,400 children.
