Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna will be ratified on March 19 as president-elect of Caintra Nuevo León for the period 2025-2026, this organization reported through a press release.
Upon appointment, which will be voted on by the General Assembly of Members, Marcelo Ebrard , head of the Ministry of Economy , is expected to swear in the new Board of Directors of the organization before almost three thousand industrialists, representatives of business leaders, authorities from the three levels of government and others.
Caintra Nuevo León reported that the process for the renewal of the members of the Board of Directors for 2025-2026 was carried out in accordance with its statutes and the provisions of the Law of Business Chambers and their Confederations.
“On January 14, the current Board of Directors of the Chamber unanimously approved the installation of the Electoral Commission, headed by Carlos Jiménez Barrera, current secretary of the Council,” he said in this regard.
He added that from that moment until March 4, “a single list was received headed by Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna, as a candidate to preside over the Board of Directors of Caintra Nuevo León during the 2025-2026 period. The registration was carried out with total openness and support from the main industrial sectors of the state.”

Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arca Continental , one of the Coca-Cola bottlers .
He also serves as CEO of Grupo SanBarr , is a member of the Board of Directors of Regional and chairs the Board of Directors of Regio Engordas.
Previously, he was Vice President of the Board of Directors of Arca Continental from 2007 to 2019 and President of the Board of Directors of Arca Continental South America.
Among other positions, he has also been a leader in business representation organizations, holding positions such as vice president of the National Agricultural Council (CNA) , and president of the State Agricultural Council of Nuevo León and the Association of Cattle Fatteners of the Northeast .
He is currently a member of the Mexican Business Council (CMN) and is part of the International Trade Council of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) .
