
With a career spanning nearly 20 years within Trayecto ( No. 1 of the Top 100 of Motor Transport®) , of which almost 15 of them he has been at the head of the general management, Jorge Casares now assumes the presidency of the Board of Directors.
“As part of its ongoing process of institutional strengthening and corporate governance, Trayecto’s Shareholders’ Meeting reports that it has updated the structure of its Board of Directors,” Trayecto announced in a statement.
Thus, as of January 1, 2026, Jorge Casares López has the responsibility of the presidency of the Board of Directors, and simultaneously the responsibility as CEO of the organization.

“With this designation, Trayecto reaffirms its commitment to professional, efficient management focused on the sustainable growth of the organization , in line with its long-term vision,” the document adds.
At the helm of Trayecto, Jorge Casares has led the consolidation of this transport group as the largest in the country, while guiding it through its transition from Grupo Transportes Monterrey, Alianza Trayecto and now as Trayecto.
In 2021, Jorge Casares was recognized as “Logistics Entrepreneur of the Year ,” precisely for being a promoter of the countercyclical actions that were required in the trucking industry in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic that it had faced.
Among other recognitions, Jorge Casares was awarded by the International Road Transport Union (IRU) as an outstanding businessman.
In 2025, the municipality of Escobedo, Nuevo León, awarded Trayecto the “Civic Merit Award”, in recognition of all the actions undertaken with a social vision in the state and where Jorge Casares is the architect of the strategy.
Trayecto has 75 years of experience in national motor transport, and is currently made up of nine transport companies, which are ALA Transportes, Larmex, TM Transportes, TLH Transportes, TJA Transportes, TMi Transportes, AT Transportes, Larmex Autos and FEM Transportes.
It also has companies that provide services to the group, including TRM Talleres, GTM América and Alantra Logistics.
