Hutchison Ports México held the 26th edition of the Total Quality Congress in Ensenada, Baja California, under the motto “Towards Sustainability” , where projects focused on operational improvement, environmental sustainability and digital transformation were presented.
In this regard, Jorge Magno Lecona, executive director of Hutchison Ports for Latin America and the Caribbean, highlighted the importance of the event as a reflection of the efforts of its employees to build a greener and more conscious future .
“This congress shows the commitment of our teams to move towards an increasingly sustainable operation,” said Lecona.
The event recognized the best initiatives in environmental management, customer service and operational efficiency . These projects underlined the company’s commitment to a more sustainable development model.
Among the award-winning projects, Escudería TILH and Hutchison Ports LCT were recognized . Initiatives from other units such as Hutchison Ports ICAVE , TIMSA and TNG were also awarded in categories such as Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Digital Transformation.
The event also featured the participation of Katya Echazarreta, the first Mexican woman to travel to space , who gave an inspiring talk, encouraging attendees to explore new frontiers and continue innovating in their areas of work.
