According to information released in a statement, this figure reaffirms the importance of e-commerce in Mexican consumer habits.
In the Hot Sale 2025 Results Report , prepared by AMVO, 43 % of Internet users in the country made a purchase during the campaign , while nine out of 10 buyers used digital channels , and six out of 10 did so exclusively online .
In operational terms, 19.2 million purchase orders and 38.8 million units sold were recorded , with an average ticket of 1,100 pesos and an average of two products per order.
The five most popular categories were fashion (28%) , beauty and personal care (20%) , mobile and computing technology (18%) , small appliances (17%) , and audio, television and video (16%) .
Among the reasons that drove online shopping were the convenience of receiving products at home , the time savings, the ease of the process, the availability of exclusive items, and the speed of delivery.
More than half of shoppers felt that the internet allowed them to access products and services not available in physical stores.
Additionally, greater dynamism was observed in the northern regions of Mexico, as well as a growing participation of women, banked millennials, and consumers from high socioeconomic levels.
As for payment methods, credit and debit cards remained the most popular, although an increase in the use of electronic vouchers was also reported .
The most popular benefits were interest-free monthly purchases , discounts of over 40%, and various additional bonuses.
Likewise, 83% of consumers said they felt safe when shopping online , consolidating trust in digital commerce.
Traffic to participating sites increased by 114% compared to the previous week , and more than 700 brands took part in this edition.
