The story of María Griselda Hernández Fábregas , current Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Estafeta , is that of a woman who has known how to turn every challenge into an opportunity and every decision into a firm step towards the consolidation of an exemplary career in logistics, an activity that has marked every stage of her professional life.
From a young age, he knew that processes, organization, and service were his calling.
“Logistics is wonderful because no day is the same. People may think it’s very routine, but the reality is that every day there’s a new challenge, and it’s a way to serve a company, a client, a person,” he tells T21.
An industrial engineer by profession from the Universidad Panamericana, she worked full-time from her second semester to support her studies. That determination shaped the style with which she has faced every challenge: resilience, discipline, and passion .
His first exposure to logistics came with the arrival of UPS in Mexico in 1991, where he was part of the founding team.
“I was employee number 10. We had to design the distribution network from scratch, the arrival of planes, the vehicles, the buildings, the entire planning of the operation,” she recalls.
He remained with the company for 22 years, managing Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The experience, he says, showed him that logistics is a service that changes lives: “You help other businesses operate. It’s a passion because you serve, because you facilitate, and because your work is reflected in the success of your clients ,” he notes.
However, a decision that many women face in their careers came into her life, and after more than two decades at UPS, Hernandez decided to step away from logistics to prioritize her family.
