Foton Mexico delivered the first representative units of the S35 model to Acua Grupo Transportista , as part of an agreement that seeks to strengthen the company’s logistics operations , both companies reported in a press release.
The S35 model is equipped with a 12-liter, 345-horsepower Cummins engine , among other features. It also features a 16-speed ZF manual transmission with a double H-shaped transmission.
The statement also stated that each unit has a load capacity of up to 28,500 kilograms (kg), a dry cargo bed, and an access ramp.
During the delivery ceremony, Israel Acevedo, director of heavy-duty tractors at Foton, highlighted the working relationship he has established with Acua Grupo, in an effort to generate sustainable operating results.
“This delivery symbolizes more than the integration of new vehicles: it’s the beginning of a relationship of
trust and sustainable results,” Acevedo said.
The operation involved Camiones Metropolitanos Grupo Ruano , an authorized Foton distributor, led by Fernando Ruano, as well as LDR Solution , the brand’s official representative in Mexico.
