Fruehauf and Flechisa consolidate business relationship, this year the packaging and storage company acquired 11 dry boxes from the manufacturer , five of them 53 feet and six 40 feet that will be integrated into the operations of the company dedicated to the movement of goods and merchandise.
Javier Hernández, general director of Flechisa, explained that the new equipment was acquired to provide services throughout the country, in the areas where Flechisa has coverage. The manager highlighted the qualities of the Fruehauf equipment, which was a determining factor for the acquisition.
The boxes delivered to Flechisa have a dymond ply interior lining on the sides that allows the shape of the box to be preserved on any type of route, whether in cold or warm climates. In addition, because rivets are not used in the assembly, the box reduces its weight, time and costs due to maintenance downtime.
Fruehauf reported that the teams are equipped with Hendrickson suspension ; bolt-on skate frame; Jost skate; front with extruded and cast corner pieces; composite door with 5 hinges and double lock; galvanized front apron and frame, rear frame and bumper.
“What makes us continue buying equipment with Fruehauf is that we know that we can have the specifications adapted to our operating needs,” added the Flechisa manager.
For his part, Rodrigo Arcos, Commercial Director of Fruehauf explained that for the allied equipment manufacturer, designing and manufacturing custom equipment is a priority . “We understand that they have very specialized operations -like those of Flechisa-, we are proud to continue strengthening the commercial relationship with Flechisa” he added.
