In its 22nd edition, the ETYL (Transport and Logistics Meeting) was entitled “Maximizing logistics opportunities with nearshoring”, and although various aspects were addressed that allow for
greater potential in the current context, it was also a space for business networking.
Over the course of two days of work, the more than 200 attendees received various messages and identified areas of opportunity, but above all, they interacted with the rest of the audience by promoting networking.
In the context of a complex transition in Mexico, the transportation and logistics industry will continue to move forward with the same resilience it has shown in the face of other difficulties , said Osiel Cruz Pacheco, CEO of Grupo T21, during the inauguration.
“This industry has shown us to be resilient, so I think we are going to have to take things one day at a time, always looking for ways to adapt to the environment, to the changes that may occur in this new administration,” he said.
Despite this context, Osiel Cruz stressed that there are favorable opportunities for the industry, with a positive outlook for trade with the United States.
He also stressed that, in an investment environment that is favourable for the country, it is essential to make the most of the logistical opportunities that arise.
