Through the EnBio® program , Estafeta (member of the Top 100 of Autotransporte® ) seeks to have its customers actively participate in initiatives to mitigate the environmental impact of their shipments, between January and September of this year.
In this sense, the program facilitated the compensation of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) through the purchase of certified carbon credits and the financing of reforestation and conservation projects in Oaxaca, managed by the organization ICICO AC
Launched in 2022, EnBio® offers an additional option for users looking to ship responsibly. This service contributes to reducing emissions associated with transport and supports indigenous and peasant communities dedicated to protecting forests.
The Commercial and Marketing Director of Estafeta, María Griselda Hernández Fábregas, highlighted that the program allows users to make more conscious decisions regarding the environment, while generating benefits for rural areas.
With this type of initiative, Estafeta seeks to promote responsible practices within the logistics industry.
