DHL Express México announced two changes in its management team, with the aim of promoting the development of talent within the company, while further strengthening its management team.
In this sense, through a statement it was announced that Adrián Sánchez , who held the position of director of CX BIT, will assume the position of CIO (Chief Information Officer) as of June 1.
The German company indicated that Adrián Sánchez is an Electronic Systems engineer and has more than 15 years of experience leading high-performance technology teams , specializing in digital solutions for the end customer.
“I feel very fortunate to have this appointment as CIO, where I have the opportunity to promote, enhance and implement initiatives that enable the digital transformation of the business. My main challenge is to continue strengthening our technological infrastructure and ensure that we continue to be pioneers in the use of technology to improve our services and customer experience,” said Sánchez García.
In addition, he has been part of DHL Express since 2021 and throughout his career he has participated in important projects for different areas such as sales, retail , customer service, fraud prevention and data privacy.
In his new role, Adrián Sánchez will be directly responsible for the IT area , with the main objective of guaranteeing excellent quality of operation and service of the company through the path of digitalization.
On the other hand, Arturo Fonseca , who was previously CIO, has held the vice presidency of Operations since April of this year.
He is a Telematics Engineer, with almost 20 years in different areas within DHL Express , which has allowed him to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the company and manage successful local and regional projects.
In his new position, Fonseca is responsible for the operation of gateways , hubs , air and land networks, service quality and customer integrations, security and protection , as well as being co-responsible for pick up & delivery operations .

With these appointments, DHL Express is confident that the experience and leadership of Adrián Sánchez and Arturo Fonseca will significantly contribute to its objectives.
