Delarúb , which offers four different services in a single company, opened its fifth warehouse in Laredo , Texas, to increase storage capacity in the region, motivated by the push for nearshoring and the commercial drive between Mexico and North America.
Delarúb’s new facility in Laredo has a capacity of 120,000 square feet, a 420-box storage yard and the most advanced technology on the border.
“In total, we have 360,000 square feet in Laredo, plus a 15,000 square foot warehouse in San Diego, California, and our corporate offices in Mexico City with sales teams in Guadalajara, Querétaro and Monterrey,” said Hiram de Rubín, CEO and founder of the company.
Delarúb currently has a portfolio of approximately 32 clients . According to Hiram de Rubín, the key to keeping them lies in the personalized service and its structure.
Delarub has four divisions, each with its own structures and clients. “We have Delarub Group, which manages warehouses and distribution in the United States; Delarub Logistics with more than 100 employees, with an office in Mexico City and more than 25 employees; Delarub LLC, focused on customs operations at the borders of Mexico, the United States and Canada; and Delarub Transport , which has 42 of its own units and 100 boxes for exchange in Mexico. This allows us to operate independently, without depending on third parties,” said De Rubín.
This structure allows Delarúb to sell services to any client , who can choose from the portfolio. “By having control over all aspects of the supply chain, we can provide a full-service experience. This not only makes the process easier for our clients, but also improves the quality of the service we offer,” explained Hiram de Rubín.
Founded in 2017, Delarúb has been experiencing steady growth for seven years , based on offering multiple services, such as merchandise collection in Mexico, border crossing with transfer and customs, and distribution in the United States with its own trucks, under the same brand that allows for better positioning in the market.
“From the beginning, we have sought to offer our clients full capacity through our own warehouses, our own transport and a customs agency under our own brand. This approach allows us to offer a comprehensive service,” emphasized Hiram de Rubín.
