This Friday the derailment of a Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) train was reported in Toluca with no injuries reported.
“Due to the railway derailment in Paseo Tollocan, our Civil Protection and Firefighters team is applying measures to prevent additional incidents; No injuries were reported,” reported the Coordination of Civil Protection and Firefighters of Toluca.
According to information on networks, the incident occurred at the height of the Paseo Tollocan road , at the intersection with Pilares, between Toluca and Metepec.
CPKC of Mexico reported that this accident was due to the track breaking after the passage of a truck, this situation caused the train to get stuck as it passed.
