The Mexican Business Council (CMN) , through the Mexican Competitiveness Center (CCMX), and Estafeta announced a collaboration aimed at strengthening and optimizing the supply chains of micro, small and medium-sized companies (MSMEs).
In a press release, the organizations detailed that this agreement will provide companies with access to training, specialized advice, logistics improvement programs and preferential prices for logistics services.
MSMEs in Mexico face various logistical challenges , from the implementation of strategies to competition in the national and international market. A report from the Mexican Association of Logistics Companies (AMELOG) indicated that companies that invest in strengthening their supply chain can reduce their costs by up to 20% and at the same time improve their delivery times by 25% on average.
With this alliance, MSMEs will receive the necessary support to implement integrated logistics strategies , promoting their scalability and improving their distribution both nationally and internationally.
Griselda Hernández, commercial and marketing director of Estafeta, highlighted the importance of supporting MSMEs from their early stages, providing logistical services that allow them to build solid and lasting business relationships.
“This collaboration with the CCMX fills us with enthusiasm, since we will be in direct contact with micro, small and medium-sized companies and their logistical needs. As a 100% Mexican company, we have the responsibility to support the growth of our entrepreneurs and businessmen,” stated Hernández.
For his part, Juan Carlos Ostolaza, general director of CCMX, stressed that having an efficient logistics strategy is essential for the optimal performance of MSMEs , directly impacting their productivity, cost optimization and customer service.
Estafeta pointed out that its logistics solutions will be key to promoting the development of MSMEs and promoting their internationalization, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by nearshoring .
As part of this collaboration Estafeta will offer free training and logistics advice through webinars , conferences and workshops. In addition, discounts will be available on logistics, courier and parcel services, after evaluation of each particular case. Logistics improvement programs will also be identified in value chains of large companies and MSMEs.
