It’s not enough to just sell vehicles; in the world of transportation, the real test begins when the units hit the road, and that’s where Foton Mexico decided to go all in, as Paco Chávez , CEO of the firm in the country, highlighted to T21.
Since 2018, on the cusp of a COVID-19 pandemic that would challenge all logistics structures, Foton and Tresguerras found a common ground: the last mile , Chávez explained within the framework of Tresguerras’ 90th anniversary.
This was the fertile ground for the birth of an alliance that sought unity and comprehensive solutions. “Sales begin with after-sales service,” he explained.
But the effort paid off. Today, Foton can boast of having at least one distributor in every state in Mexico, and more importantly, of having earned the trust of a company that represents a very high standard of operational demands, like Tresguerras.
“It wasn’t just about being there. It was about experiencing the process they go through with their end client,” said Chávez, describing what this relationship has meant to his team.
With an eye on the next 90 years of Tresguerras, Foton makes no secret of its intention: to continue being part of this great family , now with a proposal that goes beyond diesel.
In this way, Foton and Tresguerras decided to walk together, step by step, with their eyes on the end customer.
“Anyone who doesn’t know Tresguerras doesn’t know the Mexican market,” Chávez commented. For him, the company’s history is part of Mexico’s logistics landscape and the very culture of national transportation. From that perspective, collaborating with them has been an opportunity for growth, but also a challenging experience. “We are doing the minimum necessary to be part of this great Tresguerras family for the next 90 years,” he added.
Theirs is a long-term commitment, where demands were met and mutual trust became the driving force behind growth, enabling them to continue making history together.
