The toll company in Mexico, TeleVía, has announced the arrival of a new CEO as a strategic move to consolidate its leadership in the sector.
In that regard, after 13 years in the company, Rodrigo Bernal Chapa will step down from his position as CEO to take on the role of Director of Operational Services at Aleatica Mexico, TeleVía’s parent company.
Bernal has been a key figure in the transformation of toll collection in Mexico. He was responsible for implementing the first high-speed toll collection system in the country and introducing prepaid-based payment solutions. Additionally, he led the operation of the first 100% electronic toll road and promoted interoperability nationwide among different toll collection operators.
In this way, he paves the way for Ricardo Dávila Mondragón, who will take the reins as the new CEO.
Ricardo Dávila brings with him extensive experience of over 33 years in the payment media sector and has held high-responsibility positions in companies such as BBVA, Net Pay, and Todito.
His career includes roles in general management, sales, as well as in acquiring business, issuing business, consumer credit, transactional switch, and fintech.
The addition of Ricardo Dávila Mondragón is aimed at maintaining and strengthening the ongoing success of TeleVía, driving innovation and technology in toll collection services for users and businesses in Mexico.
