This Tuesday, the country’s 50 customs offices presented failures in the Foreign Trade Tax Administration Model (MATCE), the main system for the modulation of the Customs Clearance Operation Document (DODA) , starting the year with one more problem in the customs operating systems.
In this regard, the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM) reported the situation and stated that “communication is maintained with the SAT (Tax Administration System) to restore the operation of the system as soon as possible.”
Likewise, ANAM instructed local customs agents to submit the simplified request for modulation by the Integrated Customs Automated System (SAAI) , in order to ensure continuity of operations.
Manzanillo Customs took this same measure for road imports and exports, only for this day.
For its part, the Cargo Services Center (Censecar) of Nuevo Laredo detailed on its social networks that at Puente III in Nuevo Laredo, the tests have been successful and shipments are already being processed.
In addition, to expedite the crossings, he clarified that it is necessary to present the appropriate documentation, which includes: request/simplified request (consolidated), invoices and all annexes.
Censecar stressed the need to present all documentation in two sets, one for customs and one for the carrier.
In turn, he reported that module 16 is available for imports, while for exports there are modules one and two. Likewise, for departures, attention is given in modules one and two.
The service center detailed that the authority is working to enable more modules and normalize operations .
CenSeCar itself reported on the process that must be followed for operations through the customs of Colombia and Nuevo León.
It is worth remembering that this January 1st marked the third anniversary of the creation of ANAM, bringing with it divided opinions among users about the customs service, which constantly suffers from this type of incident.
