The Executive Committee of the Daimler Commercial Vehicle Distributors Association (ADAVEC) has ratified Alejandro Gómez Barquín as president, who will serve his second term at the helm of the organization.
Accompanying Alejandro Gómez of Gruver Trucks , he will be accompanied by his vice president Víctor Calderón of Zapata Trucks, and as treasurer Roberto Cano, of Truck Company of Chihuahua .
“We have endured various crises, and we will overcome the current challenges, which are economic, social, and political. We remain committed to working with the plant and financial teams, with a solid distributor network with 106 service points, all for the benefit of our customers,” Alejandro Gómez emphasized.
Meanwhile, Marcela Barreiro, president and CEO of Daimer Truck Mexico, thanked the ADAVEC Executive Committee for finding solutions despite the uncertainty , and for having a strong dealer network.
In his first event since his arrival as CEO of Mercedes-Benz Buses in Mexico , Holger Duerrfeld, referred to ADAVEC’s 45-year history , which has been key to making the plant a professional business partner with distributors.
Carlos García Amandi, vice president of Daimler Truck Financial Services Mexico, emphasized that these are exciting times, “but with a large dealer network and leading brands, we will continue working to reach even further. Count on a financial company to be even more successful.”
