DHL Supply Chain Mexico announced that it has joined forces with pharmaceutical company Adium to redefine supply chain standards in the healthcare sector by establishing an innovative, precise logistics operation tailored to the needs of the market in the region.
According to information shared by the German company, this collaboration seeks to challenge and deliver quality-of-service health products to millions of patients.

The operation is located in a 2,415 square meter (m2) distribution center in Mexico , and has specialized temperature-controlled warehouses that maintain the integrity of delicate products.
With capacity for 3,168 pallets in temperatures below 25 °C and 60 additional positions in conditions of 2-8 °C , this distribution center ensures that each medicine reaches its destination in optimal conditions.
DHL Supply Chain will be contributing its experience in logistics innovation, revolutionizing every aspect of the process, from storage to final delivery, offering advanced warehousing solutions , inventory control through the FEFO system, which gives priority to those medicines with a closer expiration date, and a product assembly and labeling process that maintains the highest quality standards in the industry.
The alliance between Adium and DHL Supply Chain Mexico is not only based on infrastructure, but on cutting-edge technology that connects both operating systems (Adium’s QAD and DHL’s BlueYonder) through nine interfaces that synchronize each transaction in real time.
This innovation enables absolute inventory visibility and operational efficiency that lays the foundation for the success of this supply chain.
