The definition of resilience speaks of “the ability to adapt and overcome difficult times, recover the initial state and emerge stronger from adversity.”
This meaning was brought to life by IPR Transport & Logistics , having started as a company focused on the plastic recycling market, its transition to a logistics operator came about by addressing the chaos of what would later become its client.
“One day I was faced with the fact that one of my recycling clients had some containers that their logistics provider couldn’t move. During my previous stay in Canada, I had contact with a broker, and with that experience, we were able to ship the containers under better conditions and at lower costs, which opened the door to working in this market,” Ramón Muñozcano, CEO of IPR Transport & Logistics, told T21.
2005 marked the start of operations in the logistics market, and after having operated as an IPR with 3PL functions, it had to add Transport & Logistics to be able to continue offering the service, but with a focus far removed from recycling .
This was the beginning of IPR’s foreign trade activities and, consequently, of Muñozcano’s, with a philosophy that he has maintained from the beginning: ” to start by seeing what the client needs , and that is what makes it interesting, because every time we take on a new client we delve into the depths of their operation, and be able to deliver effective results.”

With this vision of solving the challenges of its clients, IPR Transport & Logistics has ventured into specialized segments such as consolidated transport , the movement of hazmat goods , refrigerated transport and project cargo , among other services.
“Our foray into consolidated shipping began in 2008 during the crisis in Europe, and we advised clients to break up their shipments instead of sending full containers, achieving greater efficiency and productivity for them. This is how we have identified these types of challenges with specialized solutions,” added Ramón Muñozcano.
Throughout its 21-year history, IPR Transport & Logistics has maintained its vision of solving its clients’ problems and, according to its founder, has also been constantly innovating, not only by making technology available to its solutions, but also by seeking schemes that differentiate it from the market.
Today, the company offers services including land, sea, and air transport; with door-to-door, hazmat, specialized cargo, consulting services, purchasing in China, and export advice, among others.
