SAN PEDRO GARZA GARCÍA, NL- Between 2020 and 2025, the total fleet of motor transport has increased by 30% in the number of tractor trucks, while the number of trailers has increased by 26%, according to figures from the General Directorate of Federal Motor Transport (DGAF) .

In that same cycle, Trayecto (number 1 of the Top 100 of Autotransport® ) increased its fleet of tractor trucks by 44% , while trailers registered an increase of 54 percent .

At the closing of the 3rd Trayecto Forum, Jorge Casares López, president and CEO of Trayecto, emphasized to the various stakeholders that, while the growth of the company and its operators is fundamental, the focus has also been on advancing its infrastructure, which currently comprises 60 terminals and more than 10,000 employees . He also underscored the importance of continuous process improvement and the incorporation of technology to fulfill the company’s commitments.

In addition to these elements, Casares emphasized that the 360 vision promoted by the company is geared towards developing leaders who are good people , who positively influence their close circles through this same philosophy, with the goal of contributing to building a better country.

“We cannot be good leaders if we are not good people, and that is what we apply with our collaborators,” stated the president of Trayecto, who recalled that the project they have with the Santiago FC soccer team is focused on generating good people and better human beings.

This same dynamic is applied at the University of Transportation (UDAT) , which, while geared towards developing technical skills, also focuses on creating better human beings. “There’s no point in growing if we don’t improve our country, if we don’t improve our relations with other countries ,” Jorge Casares warned.

Consistent growth

For the management team led by Trayecto, the path forward for the medium and long term is clear. They already have a vision for the company in 2035 , one that encompasses not only quantitative but also qualitative aspects.

Jorge Casares emphasized to his stakeholders that, by 2035, Trayecto has a clear vision of reaching eight thousand tractor-trailers and 17 thousand trailers; the challenge in this equation is that 60% of the driving force will not use diesel.

“ Our long-term vision for 2035 is that we must find ways to avoid pollution , using the technologies at our disposal,” Casares López explained, adding, “such as gas, electricity, hydrogen, water, the atmosphere, and prayers of the Holy Spirit. We will find ways to avoid pollution. How to avoid pollution? That is our long-term vision for 2035. ”

On the path to achieving this goal, Trayecto defined 2026 as the year of the “Assertive Consistency” cycle, which was outlined as: “The ability to define a clear position, make decisions without delay, and act firmly, communicating instructions and agreements directly, concretely, and respectfully, ensuring compliance with internal policies, processes, deadlines, and regulatory obligations. This involves aligning expectations, correcting deviations promptly, and following up until completion, using objective information and business criteria, without generating unnecessary friction or exceptions outside the norm.”

From Jorge Casares’ perspective, “Assertive forcefulness” can be summarized as making decisions and taking actions effectively, so that they are the right ones.

“ In other words, it is the ability to define a clear position, make decisions without hesitation , be firm, without fear; communicate instructions directly, concretely, respectfully; comply with processes and policies so that it ends up being an assertive and decisive action,” said the president of Trayecto.

In his closing remarks at the 3rd Trayecto Forum, Jorge Casares was emphatic: “Trayecto’s purpose is to generate growth that inspires passionate service for the common good. It’s not just about producing more trucks; it has to be about the common good, creating employees aligned with our values, such as dignified treatment, integrity, discipline, innovation, safety, and sustainable relationships.”
