
GUADALAJARA, JAL.- BYD Trucks , a Chinese vehicle company, showcased three units at Expo Transporte ANPACT 2025 with which it seeks to strengthen its participation in the Mexican electric cargo market: the T35 , the Cargo Van V9 and the T011 .
The models are part of their strategy to serve different segments, from urban distribution to higher capacity transport.
The T35 offers a load capacity of 2.6 tons and a range of 250 kilometers (km), while the Cargo Van V9 has 17 cubic meters (m³) of volume and an 80.64 kWh Blade LFP battery, rechargeable from 20 to 80% in 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, the T011 can move more than five tons with a range of 321 km.
During the presentation, BYD executives highlighted the production of their own components (batteries, motors and semiconductors) as part of their technological integration.
With 700 electric units in operation in the country , the company expects Mexico to consolidate itself as one of the main markets for sustainable transport in Latin America.
Brand representatives commented that the total cost of electric vehicles is already competitive with that of diesel units, considering the lower expenses in maintenance and energy.
The company highlighted that the lifespan of its batteries exceeds 1.2 million km , and that at the end of their use in mobility they can be used for energy storage.
