In the cumulative period January–July 2025, trade between Mexico and the United States amounted to 506.909 billion dollars (mdd), in an environment of tariff uncertainty, where the volume of trade between both countries increased 4.3% , according to figures from the United States Department of Commerce .

The North American region is one of the most dynamic in the world, and that is why Grupo Xpress Internacional has identified that the consolidation of an integral logistics model is the way to capitalize on the increase in commercial exchange and with a long-term vision .

“Since 2024, the group’s vision has been to develop a set of logistics models tailored to the specific needs of customers, rather than separate models across group companies. This is intended to address the diverse needs of customers and give us the ability to solve more complex logistics needs,” Luis Arzani, the group’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), told T21.

Based on what Arzani said, Grupo Xpress Internacional not only adds infrastructure but also capabilities .

Today, among the services they offer are:

  • Door to door in 53 ft dry van.
  • Door to door on platform.
  • 53ft dry van to and from Laredo, Texas (Tx).
  • Platform to and from Laredo, Tx.
  • Border crossings (Laredo, TX, Otay Mesa, CA, El Paso, TX).
  • Storage.
  • Cross dock .
  • Intermodal.
  • Transfer.
  • Domestic and international brokerage.

The key is to find the best solution in terms of cost-benefit , and if the equation indicates that it is better to make the crossings through Tijuana to serve California, instead of doing it through Laredo, it is analyzed with the clients and that advice is carried out with the rest of the portfolio services such as warehousing, cross dock and distribution.

“To strengthen our commercial focus, in addition to our assets in trucking companies, where we will continue to strengthen our infrastructure, we have also focused on the warehousing, cross-dock , and distribution areas, where we already have more than 65,000 square meters of assets in various locations in Mexico,” Arzani stated.

At the same time, this service offering allows customers to solve all processes within the supply chain and penetrate the market in a different way.

Grupo Xpress Internacional’s portfolio is comprised of the trucking companies Xpress Internacional , focused on 53-foot dry vans; Dyl-K , with platform services; and Logisti-K , an international freight forwarder.

Logisti-K Xpress operates from the United States, while DLK Transportationfocuses on flatbed towing in the neighboring country to the north.

This positioning gives the group the ability to open services on other borders, such as those currently operating in Ciudad Juárez–El Paso, and to expand to other locations where the market demands it, such as Tijuana.

“When these types of alternatives are presented, the client sometimes doesn’t have them in mind, so presenting the cost analysis creates opportunities to run tests and thereby achieve a positive impact on the relationship with the client,” Luis Arzani emphasized.

In an interview from his office in Dallas, Texas, Luis Arzani described the initiative to operate the commercial division from this location as intended to consolidate the group’s commercial objectives, both in Mexico and the United States, not only in terms of the supply chain, but also in new markets. “We must present each client with a market strategy that meets their needs. What we seek is to serve new clients and new industries.”

Grupo Xpress Internacional’s vision is focused on continuing to consolidate its trucking fleet, which is why it will continue to incorporate tractor-trailers and towing equipment, as well as continuing to expand its warehouses, which currently have 688 thousand square feet, and in areas such as Tijuana and Mexicali, it has two large warehouses for distribution activities.

Solid progress

In 2025, Grupo Xpress Internacional strengthened its infrastructure, as it did with its powertrain. This year alone, it acquired 110 tractor-trailers ; 20 units of this group were earmarked for renovation and 90 units for fleet expansion.

At Grupo Xpress Internacional, they have a clear strategy to strengthen their infrastructure, therefore, in addition to the vehicle fleet, investments have also been made in the warehouse area, “this year we opened 15 thousand square meters in Monterrey and by the start of 2026 we will be finishing the construction of a five thousand square meter warehouse in Guadalajara,” Arzani described.

One of the constants in the market in 2025 was uncertainty, which is why at Grupo Xpress Internacional it is clear that they must maintain their progress in creating a solid infrastructure that allows them to meet customer demands as a recovery in activities is identified, and where these investments have that aspect.

Xpress International Group Infrastructure:

  • 616 tractor-trailers for Mexico and the United States.
  • 1,100 53-foot dry boxes.
  • 300 platforms.
