
Aeroméxico Group stood out as the Mexican airline with the greatest growth in international cargo movement during the first half of 2025, according to statistics reported by the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC) .
From January to June of this year, the company moved 52,469.49 tons, compared to 49,871.1 tons for the same period in 2024, achieving a 5.2% year-over-year growth.
Meanwhile, Mas Cargo Airline grew by 49.1% in the reference period, going from 25,403.26 tons to 37,871.26 tons, and Avianca Cargo México (formerly AeroUnion) ended the cycle with 10,638.68 tons, an increase of 53.4 percent.

Aeroméxico Group had a 50.5% market share , compared to Mas Cargo Airline’s 36.5% and Avianca Cargo México’s 10.2%.

Regarding foreign airlines, FedEx cargo registered a 24.7% decrease, going from 42,878.8 tons in January-June 2024 to 32,278.99 tons in the same period in 2025, according to AFAC.

In June, Aeroméxico Group continued to report increases in cargo handling, rising from 8,448.93 tons to 9,395.56 tons, an increase of 11.2%, the agency reported.
