As part of its growth strategy and aligned with Fultra ‘s Vision 2030 , trailer manufacturer East Trailers announced the appointment of Chris Olson as the company’s new CEO , according to a press release.
Olson, who has more than 25 years of experience in industries such as transportation , truck bodies and specialty vehicles , has held management positions at firms such as Wabash National , LEER Group , among others.
Throughout his career, he led operational transformation, business integration, and advanced manufacturing processes, in addition to driving improvements in the supply chain and the development of national accounts.
The change in executive management seeks to strengthen East Trailers’ operations with a focus on agility, efficiency, and customer orientation, key elements of the business model of Fultra, the group to which the company belongs.
Jorge Martínez, CEO of Fultra, emphasized that Olson’s addition responds to the need for leadership that translates strategy into concrete results.
“His leadership will be key to building an agile, efficient, and customer-focused operation,” Martínez noted.
East Trailers , based in Randolph, Ohio, and with over five decades in business, is recognized for manufacturing aluminum trailers for cargo transportation in North America.
The company thanked Tom Wiseman, who served as CEO for the past year and a half and will now focus on leading the team at Fruehauf Inc. , also part of Fultra’s portfolio.
With this transition, the company seeks to consolidate its presence in the region, maintaining its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service.
