According to official data, 89% of participating micro, small and medium-sized businesses reported that sales during these days accounted for between 15% and 30% of their annual income, due to initiatives such as the “Consume Local” program, which encourages purchases from SMEs.
“The participation of entrepreneurs, businesses and consumers has been essential to the success of this program. Thanks to them, we continue to strengthen Mexican companies,” the Ministry of Economy said in its final report.
Among the most in-demand products were electronics and technological devices . Sectors such as tourism, educational services (35%) and professional services (15%) also recorded a significant share, reflecting a diversification in consumption.
