Despite being people who are already outstanding in their fields of action, those who received the “Mexico in your hands” award on Tuesday night pledged to continue working and finding improvements for and in the country.
Among the more than 20 individuals who were recognized by the National Fraternity of United Organizations for Mexico , the civil organization that administers the award, is José Manuel Amador , who currently serves as Growth Facilitation Manager at Maersk Mexico .
“Receiving this award is not the end of the journey, it is a new beginning to continue inspiring others because Mexico is not only in our hands, it is in our actions, words and in our hearts,” said Amador during the presentation of his recognition.
The “Mexico in your hands” award received by the logistics executive is part of the Gold Series , which is celebrating its first two editions, although the award has already been in place for 11 years and is led by Armando Olvera, president of the National Fraternity of Organizations United for Mexico.
“I dedicate this recognition to all the people who have walked alongside me, to my parents and sister, to my wife and children for their support, and to all those people who believe that building a better Mexico begins with small actions and with dreams that we turn into realities with deep love for our nation,” said José Manuel Amador.
Among the names of the other characters are María Antonieta de las Nieves , a famous actress remembered for her performance as “Chilindrina” in the program El Chavo del 8 , as well as Laura Zapata, Mauricio Herrera, also prominent actors; Joel José, actor and singer (son of the famous Mexican singer José José); businessmen such as Lucero Barra Reyes, Ema Lorena Alvarado, Jorge Francisco Ojeda García and José Luis Blancas, among others.
