It has been almost 20 years since Grupo T21 decided to give visibility to the most influential auto transport companies in Mexico. Thus, in 2007, the Top 100 del Autotransporte® was born, the only list in the country that gives visibility to the most important players in the sector that have built a successful path for transport and logistics.
Following this innovative record and under the thorough review of T21 Business Intelligence, the intelligence unit of Grupo T21, the Transportation Awards were created in 2016, an award that recognizes companies that have developed solid growth and implemented good practices in their operations .
This eighth edition of the Transportation Awards not only recognizes the work of trucking companies , but is also a reminder of the importance of the sector for the national economy, to continue being one of the main export partners of the United States.

“We know that there is a lot of work to be done to recognize operators and help solve the critical problem of the lack of these and how important and strategic it is for transport companies to obtain certification,” explained Osiel Cruz, CEO of Grupo T21.
Drive is Great is a contribution that began with a focus on the trucking industry to take operators to the next level.
“The plan is ambitious, we want to involve as many companies as possible and recognize the good practices that exist internally, with a methodology developed to distinguish the companies that treat operators best,” explained Osiel Cruz.
For his part, Einar Palomino, CEO of VI Human, explained that the guiding idea of Drive is Great is to give visibility to companies that have a genuine vocation for operators, evaluating 155 factors and collecting 130 pieces of evidence.
“Those of us who make up this community are consolidating a practice that targets the core of the industry’s problem, because this business is about people. With Drive is Great we evaluate four areas in the comprehensive operator system: the ability to develop new talent, the ability to establish models and strategies for retaining operators, the third point is training and finally, the capacity as an employer brand,” said Palomino.
