The head of the Ministry of Economy (SE) , Marcelo Ebrard , made new appointments to his cabinet in this department, where Luis Rosendo Gutiérrez Romano will be the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, and Vidal Llerenas Morales , Undersecretary of Industry and Commerce.
In a statement, the SE reported that Gutiérrez Romano has served as a public official in several federal government institutions, while Vidal Llerenas has been a federal and local legislator.
Marcelo Ebrard also appointed Soledad Guadalupe López Acosta , who has worked in public administration for more than 25 years, as head of the Administration and Finance Unit, and César García Mondragón , who, among other positions, has been director of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) , will be the head of the Legal Affairs Unit of the SE.
Ximena Escobedo Juárez , who during her extensive career served as an advisor in the LXIII Legislature, will be the head of the Institutional Strategy and Organization Unit. Fernando José Aboitiz Saro will head the Extractive Activities Coordination Unit.
In turn, Andrea Genoveva Solano Rendón , who has a degree in Law from the Universidad Veracruzana, was appointed as head of the Normativity, Competitiveness and Competition Unit. Meanwhile, Carlos Alfonso Candelaria López , who was a deputy of the then Legislative Assembly of the Federal District (ALDF), will be in charge of the Unit for Attention to Welfare Corridors.
María Araceli de Haas Matamoros , who has held various positions in public service, was named General Director of International Relations. Daniel Millán Valencia , who has worked as a reporter and columnist for various media outlets, will be General Director of Communication and Narrative.
Meanwhile, Laura González Stanford , who has a degree in Business Administration, will be the general director of Programming, Budget and Accounting. Astrid Natividad González Degollado , who among other positions has been general director of passports at the SRE, was appointed by Marcelo Ebrard as general director of Human Resources.
