Shacman strengthens its operations in Mexico under the guidance of a team that together has more than eight decades of experience in the heavy vehicle manufacturing, logistics and transportation industry.
In the case of Carlos Pardo, general manager of Shacman in Mexico , he has 20 years of expertise in the industry, starting his professional career as a leader in the commercial area and later taking on the general management of different companies. “Throughout my career I have been involved with each of the clients to understand what their particular needs are and to be able to help them consolidate successful businesses,” explained the executive.
Pardo has pursued the goal of keeping his clients’ units on the road for as long as possible, and is convinced that the best truck is the one that works for as long as possible. ” We are focusing our efforts on strengthening the training of our distributors , in addition to reinforcing the after-sales area and the capacities in the supply of spare parts,” Pardo said.
In this regard, Ramón López, After-Sales Director at Shacman, explained that, thanks to his more than 30 years of experience in the commercial vehicle manufacturing industry and his time in logistics and freight transport companies, he has been able to have a vision of both sides of the coin.
“Thanks to this experience, I have the knowledge to know what areas of opportunity there are in the after-sales service and thus provide accurate responses to customers. As manufacturers, we have the opportunity to do things differently, not only in terms of coverage and service workshops, but also in providing a comprehensive solution. Our vision is not to focus on repairs, but to anticipate possible failures with the help of telemetry and artificial intelligence,” said López.
For his part, Arturo Gómez, Shacman’s Commercial and Marketing Director, has more than three decades of experience in the automotive industry, including the area of product engineering and spare parts.
