Luis Ramos, CEO and founder of the Mexican cargo company Awesome Cargo , announced through his social networks that the airline has already started a Mexico-China service , with a technical stopover at the Los Angeles airport.
In a post on his LinkedIn account, Ramos detailed that they successfully launched weekly flight operations to the Asian country, while the ramp and material service for the aircraft will be provided by AeroCharter USA.
“This is a dream come true and it gives me great satisfaction to be able to enjoy this day with my best friend, mentor and father Luis Ramos Landero, whose support and guidance have been fundamental,” said Luis Ramos.
The cargo airline, which has a broad business portfolio, such as aircraft leasing, crew and maintenance, has its base of operations at Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) .
The company seeks to “democratize” air cargo with point-to-point connectivity and offer better rates , give a higher focus to the Mexican producer and be another option in the market.
In 2022, the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC) awarded the first concession to provide the National Air Cargo Public Transport Service to the Mexican company TM Aerolíneas Awesome Cargo, to operate cargo flights to and from AIFA .
Based in Mexico City, the airline offers capacity of up to 55 tons , with the help of a fleet of two Airbus 330-200 aircraft, and has an ambitious expansion plan to provide various options to its customers on short, medium and long-haul routes.
In this regard, and according to its website, the company provides connectivity with South America, in addition to offering comprehensive solutions in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as in the local network .
Among the products that can be transported are: general cargo, pharmaceuticals, live animals and perishable goods.
