During his participation in the Civil Engineering and Infrastructure conference, an inseparable binomial organized by the College of Civil Engineers of Mexico (CICM) , he said that the country has the opportunity to build a resilient infrastructure , with new technologies in design, construction and maintenance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
“We have to get into nearshoring, we have to facilitate connectivity between different places, especially with the United States and with regions in the country, facilitate that mobility,” indicated the former undersecretary of Infrastructure.

Likewise, the technical and management capacity of public institutions must be strengthened , guarantee transparency in bidding processes and promote collaboration between different levels of government and the private sector, to mention a few.
