The Colima state government announced a new direct flight between Manzanillo and Los Angeles , which aims to facilitate travel during the winter holiday season and is expected to boost the economy in both cities.
This connection, in collaboration with Delta Air Lines and Aeroméxico (JCA) , will begin operating on December 21 and will continue until April 26 , with flights on Saturdays. The flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with capacity for 160 passengers.
In that sense, Pasquale Speranza, vice president of Sales Mexico and JCA, expressed his enthusiasm for the new route.
“A significant achievement that allows us to add another route to international connectivity for the state of Colima. We are convinced that it will be a great success. We appreciate the support and collaboration of the authorities and partners, without whom this achievement would not have been possible,” added Pasquale Speranza.
For his part, the Undersecretary of Tourism of Colima, Jorge Padilla Castillo, emphasized that the new connection will encourage tourism in Manzanillo , known for its beaches, volcanoes and culture. This flight will be added to the four existing direct flights from Manzanillo to the United States and the new route to Atlanta, starting in November.
