Ferrocarril Mexicano (Ferromex) , a subsidiary of Grupo México Transportes (GMXT) , appointed Alberto Antonio Vergara Perrilliat as General Director of Administration of the railway, a change that is made to strengthen its organizational structure, according to an announcement sent to the Mexican Stock Exchange of Securities (BMV) .
The replacement will be effective as of July 1 of this year.
Vergara Perrilliat was General Director of Planning at Ferromex, a position he held as of May 2020. He also has 18 years of experience in the industry holding different positions.
In the company he was in charge of the areas of Finance, Talent, Legal, Supply, Strategic Projects and Government Relations .
According to data from the railway company, Isaac Franklin Unkind will leave the position of General Director of Administration and Finance, which he assumed since May 2020. So far it has not been reported what function he will perform within the company.
